Certified Energy Coach Program Starting

Marina Grgic 28 Aug 2008 | : I recommend

The Certified Energy Coach Institute is starting its Certified Energy Coach Program on September 15. Have a look, listen to the Intro; put your hand on your heart and if it resonates with you consider taking it.

I went trough it twice learned a lot, enjoyed it tremendously and had the opportunity to hang out with like minded people. Great buddy system within the program! And a brand new technique Ethos will be thought for the first time.

Check it out here Certified Energy Coach Program

Get the CEC Intro audio and the Start up Kit here

I warmly recommend it.

Good People

Marina Grgic 25 Aug 2008 | : Uncategorized

This little story is in today’s EFT Newsletter, I liked it, you might too.Who is it that we encounter most on a daily basis, good or bad people?

An old man sat outside the walls of a great city. When travelers approached, they would ask the old man, “What kind of people live in this city?” The old man would answer, “What kind of people live in the place where you came from?” If the travelers answered, “Only bad people live in the place where we came from,” the old man would reply, “Continue on; you will find only bad people here.”

But if the travelers answered, “Good people live in the place where we came from,” then the old man would say, “Enter, for here too, you will find only good people.”

New branch of science busts gene myths

Marina Grgic 22 Aug 2008 | : New in science

A new branch of science called Epigenetics moves medicine from simple mechanics to the Quatum Science level. Epigenetics proves that our health is NOT predetermined by genes and that we have control over how our genes express themselves thus determining if we experience a disease or not.

Using an experiments on mice that are identical genetically, scientist were able to completely change the health of the mice by changing diet. This is exciting stuff.

One mouse is obese and predisposed to diabetes and cancer. The other one is the healthy result of a change in the mother’s diet. And what are the tools scientist say can alter the way our genes are expressed?

“New research shows that consciousness (beliefs, feelings, prayer, energy, thought) may have epigenetic effects.”

Tools from the emerging field of energy psychology, such as EFT, can change what happens to our genes and whether or not we experience a particular disease.

So please ignore that media next time it informs you that they have identified a gene for this or that disease. Yes the gene may lead to that disease but YOU HAVE CONTROL over whether it happens or not.

A ground breaking Epigenetic Science award was recently presented in Los Angeles. You owe it to yourself and your health to be informed about epigenetics. The most approachable book on the subject is: The Genie in Your Genes: Epigenetic Medicine and the New Biology of Intention

Clearing Food Aversion with EFT

Marina Grgic 09 Aug 2008 | : EFT stuff, Help yourself

Food aversion can seriously hinder some parts of our lives. I myself have a strong aversion to fish, but especially to its smell. When people at the same table or the same room as I are eating fish or see food it really bothers me, and sometimes brings up a feeling of aggression, which makes me feel bad.

I have a friend who keeps inviting me for lunch and very often she serves fish agrrr…although she knows I am not eating it. I bumped into this article and taught it might be worth trying to get rid of the fish aversion; it is a healthy food and I live in a Mediterranean country where not eating fish feels like a character flow. So I will give it a try and then let you know what happened. In the mean time here is an article that might inspire you to do the same as it inspired me.

How I Cleared a Food Aversion in 5 Minutes

On a recent hot summer morning, my husband, Steve, offered me some ripe, ice-cold, cantaloupe. He said, “Too bad you don’t like cantaloupe. It doesn’t get any better than this one.” I remembered hearing about people clearing a food issue with EFT, so I thought I might as well try it. I had detested eating cantaloupe for as long as I could remember. My sister didn’t like it either, which made me think that “something” happened while we were eating cantaloupe when we were girls.

The set-up phrases I used(while tapping on my karate chop point) were, Even though:

* I don’t like the taste of cantaloupe, and I don’t know why, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

* I don’t ever remember liking the taste of cantaloupe… my sister and I don’t like the taste of cantaloupe… something may of happened while we were eating cantaloupe, and I don’t remember what it was….

Then I did a round of tapping. For the reminder phrases I used:

* don’t like cantaloupe

* doesn’t taste good

* don’t like the taste

* don’t ever remember liking the taste.

Then I took a taste of cantaloupe. It was cold, somewhat crisp, and felt good in my mouth. It didn’t taste quite as bad as I thought it would, but I couldn’t say that I liked it. So, I did some more set-up phrases while tapping on my karate chop point. Even though:

* cantaloupe has always tasted yucky to me…

* something happened to make it so I don’t like the taste of cantaloupe, and I don’t

remember what it was…

* there is something about the aftertaste of cantaloupe I don’t like….

I did a round of tapping using the following reminder phrases:

* yucky taste

* yucky cantaloupe aftertaste

For the testing, I took a big bite of cantaloupe. “Yum, not bad,” as I continued eating a giant piece of a fresh, juicy, cantaloupe.

In about five minutes, I cleared a food aversion that I have had for over 50 years. Even though I had a sense that something may have happened in my past while I was eating cantaloupe, and even though I couldn’t remember exactly what it was, I was still able to clear my resistance to the taste. Now, I can finally enjoy a food that I had eliminated from my diet when I was a child.
